And... he's back (really)
/So that sounded pretty final, didn’t it? Over and out. Outtahere. Gone.
Three years ago, I had a bug up my butt to do some political stuff, focused on the area of North Carolina where I lived (Raleigh-Durham, or the ‘Triangle’). The Triangle Talk Show was born. I found some co-hosts and we made about 130 episodes. it never caught a big audience, but it was fun to do.
And then Cyndi KD4ACW and I moved out of the Triangle to the Charlotte area. Charlotte sits right on the state line with South Carolina, and that’s where we are, in Fort Mill. We’re here mostly to help care for Cyndi’s folks.
So that ended the TTS. David W0DHG was struggling to produce shows, and while I haven’t been hip-deep in ham radio in general, I have been learning my new RF landscape – all the repeaters in the area and the clubs. More on the clubs in another QLOG and maybe a show. There’s something there.
I talked to David about getting things rolling again. He was on board. He had been working with Jim Aspinwall NO1PC on some shows. Marty NN1C (formerly ‘Chicken with Fries’) was kind of footloose and interested in getting back into doing a show (his PhasingLine Podcast reversed polarity and canceled itself out). So the four of us embarked on bringing HamRadioNow back to the ham radio podscape. Podaverse. Podland.
Ham Radio Podland is getting to be a crowded place, but we do something a little different. We probably won’t get the biggest audience, and size doesn’t matter (size matters). So click ‘like and subscribe’ and tell all your friends.
I’m back. We’re back.
